Single Food Diets
Single food Diets were
very popular in the past, but they are impossible to stay on for very long and
they often deprive your body of the vast array of essential nutrients and
minerals your body needs to function optimally.
Examples of a single food diet are "Grapefruit
diet," and "Cabbage Soup
Diet." You are allowed to eat as much of
these limited foods.
The weight loss achieved by
these short term diets is almost always temporary. People do not stick with
these plans because it is extremely boring and
monotonous.
